My vet doesn't have metacam currently in stock, I live fairly far out away from the city (Australia). I am about to try three chemists looking for tramadol. Does it need to be baby tramadol (from what I've found online they don't stock that)
Can they have adult tramadol? What would be the dose. Thanks for anyone who can help. The vet isn't sure what is wrong with her, she does have some sort of paralysis on her back leg and as a result has now formed bumblefoot quite badly (I've been treating with Epson salts, betadine, manuka honey soaks and colloidal silver). She's 6 years old and this may be her last day/s. I would just like to give her some pain relife. She is extremely sensitive to bring touched and held and at this point I don't want her to go through more test and just want her to be with her friend. She isn't eating. I'm syringe giving her water with a little cranberry juice

I can't comment on which (if any) tramadol piggies can have, but you certainly can't buy it over the counter in the UK. It needs to be prescribed by a doctor. It may be different where you are, but I'd be surprised.

Tramadol is usually only used as a last resort as it is a very strong painkiller. As above, here in the UK you can’t buy it over the counter, it has to be prescribed by a doctor. Of course, it may be different in Australia but I’d be surprised too. I would speak to your vet as if they think Tramadol will help, they can give you the correct ant safe dosage
