Since we've been making a few trips to the vet with Mr T I want to find a better travel arrangement than using a small cage (used for longer travel)/their original cardboard box they arrived in (as its not too sturdy/bit small now since I have to take both as Tango hates travelling, let alone being travelling while he's by himself).

I've found this, which seems an awesome deal, and was wondering if folks thought it'd be suitable/sturdy enough?

I also use a cat carrier. You can get them really cheap at bootsales (fine after a good clean!) and theres plenty of space, unlike some of the ones designed for piggies.

Sounds as if it will be strudy enough and the measurments are quite generous, I would be tempted to give it a go.

Yeah cat carriers are best. You can stuff lots and lotf hay in and they are as happy as Larry muching away with room to move.

Ive never used or come across anything like this I'm afraid. As others have said, for longer journey's i tend to use a cat carrier. Ive got a couple of smaller single pig carriers for short trips etc.

x.

Thanks all. I thought about a cat carrier first but I really want something that opens from the top (and all cat carriers I've seen are all top opening). They'd be ideal but Mr T is a scuffly little thing and its just much easier to be able to reach in from on high and scoop him up, rather than have to stretch my hand into the carrier to pull him out - I can just see them making a break for it as well with a side opening door!

I've seen the Savic one too so thanks for the recommendation on that too, I think I'd prefer to go for something I've got solid recommendations on!

Ahh! Thank you! Now I've got loads of options to consider!
