Traveling for the first time

Hi!
Does anyone have any tips for traveling away for the first time while having piggies? I am super worried about leaving them, even though they will be staying with a trusted friend. I already plan on leaving lots of notes and having her come over to meet the piglets ahead of time, but I can't seem to stop worrying!
Any advice?

It can be an anxious time but so long as your friend remembers to feed, water and make sure your piggies are clean, they’ll be just fine Leaving notes is a good idea

Make sure you leave details of your vets - just in case! Hopefully a vet trip won't be needed. Oh remember to say to take a pawholder too if one of your piggies needs to see the vet.

We were anxious too so I ensured they had one of their own tunnels and their own blankets (we used a guinea pig boarding service). The lady posted photos every evening of the boys so that put our minds at rest and they settled straight back in at home when we collected them :-)
