Treat?

I am a little nervous about this treat it's got chunky rolls of parsley & carrot. My concerns are the outside is covered in red & yellow millet. I thought piggys couldn't have millet or any kind of nut/seed.

As far as I'm aware they shouldnt have nuts/seeds. And I think these types of sticks are full of sugar and not very good for piggies.. perhaps something as a rare treat but not 100% sure..

Thanks beans on toast , they were expensive but my piggys health comes first. Perhaps my hamster can eat them, it may stop her from jumping from heights, lol

I have gave my pigs things like this on occasion in the past but just as a rare treat and I wouldn't leave it in the cage for them to have free access to.
I think it's the equivalent of us having sugary sweets :P

There isn't actually any sugar in this particular treat.
It's the millet that makes it unsuitable for guinea pigs.

But you could always take it apart (or remove the parts with millet) and let them chew on the wood bits.

Thought it was, I remember someone being told about millet in the cage. It goes to show how ignorant manufactures are
