I've just read somewhere that I should clean the piggies cages 24 hours after I put the invermectin on to give it a chance to work, is this true or should I clean it before I put them back in the cage (just after I put the invermectin on)?
Also, will I be alright putting all the towels and fleece back in straightaway? After washing them at 60.
Thanks!

I would put them back in a clean cage with the fleeces and towels all freshly washed. Have you got an actual infestation, or is the Ivermectin preventative? Have you had a diagnosis from the vet? If the piggies do have lice, you can also use an anti-parasitic shampoo such as Lice n Easy, FleaorDie or even something like Lyclear creme rinse (which is for humans). For mites, which burrow under the skin, an injection of Ivermectin is usually more effective than spot on.
