Hiya I suspect that the foster piggy has mites as she has two itchy spots on her back. I would like to treat her and perhaps give her a bath asap to make her more comfortable but am unsure when would be best as she is with her 4 day old babies. I understand she couldn't be treated whilst pregnant but wondered can I treat her now even though she is feeding her babies? Obviously I don't want to do anything incorrect hence my asking. many thanks

I would only advise you to go to the vet - bathing to treat mites can only be done after mum has weaned them and the babies can only be treated once they reach 12 weeks. Ivermectin injections are normally the way to go for pregnant/lactating females.
