My guinea-pigs are fed burgess excel pellets, and they get their vegetables and lots of hay too. To make their pellets a bit more interesting for them I've been adding a small amount of these:

to their pellets. I just put it in and mix it up with the pellets. They seem to like it and have been eating all of it, pellets and treats, so if its ok for them I'd like to keep doing this. Is it ok for them to have this kind of treat every day? I don't want to give them anything that could be bad for them.

Looking at what's in it, I'd say only give it to them 2-3 times a week, after all, it is a treat :)
Mine get various treats like carrot & wild berry drops, and 'rodent marbles' about once a week.

Burgess also do a super tasty Blackcurrent & Oregano nuggets, they're much much smaller then the regular Burgess nuggets, but they go down a treat. When I have a bag, I'll put a little in their bowls with their regular nuggets each day :)

5% ash? Why would ash be added to guinea pig food? Is this normal?

On a slightly different matter, Charcole is said to be good for dogs (and some other animals I believe) And charcole is basically burnt wood.
