Hi piggie owners!
I recent went to a big per show at the Birmingham NEC and I'm nosey and herd people mentioning tree branches are great for guineas to eat and strip.
Is there a link any one knows regarding what trees are safe etc?
Loads of trees by Me but sadly I'm no tree doctor.
Thank you all

I think the most important points are to choose trees you know have not been sprayed and are away from busy roads.
I bring all foraged branches home, hose them off in the garden, and then leave them outside for an hour or so to give any bugs a chance to leave.
My piggies do love their branches.

I've given them Apple and pear tree branches (very small ones) but only from my own fruit trees when pruning them so I know they haven't been treated

Love to see the piggies enjoying them!

Mine get a lot of twigs and such as I have a steady supply for my mice. Piggy favourite is birch - unhelpful really as that's a rare tree around here! They always have a couple of twigs in their pen.

I forage a lot for mine too, but I didn't know about that website. I really like German rodent care websites, so thanks for posting it.

My little ones aren't fussed by branches but they love the leaves off the apple tree in my garden. they will hoover them up!
