I live in the woods and have loads of trees around me - what twigs n things could i give to my piggies to chew on. I know apple branches but do they have to be old ones that are dead and fallen off or fresh cut from the tree? Also what toys do your piggies LOVE.... I have stuffed a loo roll with hay and thats gone down well - i couldnt find a safe ball and bell that they could play with ! our two petshops in town had NONE - duh...so thats not in there yet so I'm trying to think of some other lovely toys...any ideas ?

i find that even if i put balls etc in the pigs cages they dont touch them (unlike rabbits who throw them around). the toy that my piggies seem to love is tunnels and tubes! or cardboard boxes with a few holes cut in for entrance/exit. they can also nibble these.
i have collected crabapple twigs for my pets. i snap them off the tree, dont pick them off the ground because a dog may have pee'd on them. i let them dry out and they love them. some other twigs that are safe - Apple, Birch, Blackberry, Hazel, Hawthorn, Maple, Pear, Raspberry, Willow. i wont risk picking any branches at this time of year because when there are no leaves on the tree it's difficult to be sure what type of tree it is.

My OH is a biologist and proudly proclaimed he could tell the types of tree even without leaves.... of coarse, when we got up to the woods, he was none the wiser and we didn't get a thing ::)

LOL men ;D ;D

You'll have to look around for the balls at a good pet store and i'm not sure about twigs, i know Duke used to love it when he could munch on old gum leaves and twigs ::)
