I am so pleased with them.. I think it's going well.

I slept through last night so I think they were fine (had them in my bedroom incase anything was wrong and they'd wake me up). I've left them to it today just been peeking at them. Trek is the main man alright. He is slinging his body round the cage rumbling. He is mounting still but not as frequent as last night. Puddles is coping well I think, he is very scared of my hand coming into the cage and runs to where Trek is. I think I need to startoffering treats every time I go near him tomorrow.

They are sharing water bottles and food bowls even though i've doubled up which I kind of think is cool. They both shared a clump of grass out of my hand without any fuss. They sleep next to each other but I do still hear Trek rumbling when they're in there. Not too much today though.

I think floor time tonight will be a big tell tale.

Oh, yes - tonight Puddles tried to mount Trek and i think he nipped him. It's the first i've seen this but he very quickly left Trek alone and Trek didn't persue it further. When Trek mounts Puddles, Puddles whimpers a little squeel -is this him submissing (is that the right word?)

I am very pleased with them. It's still early days for Puddles and he is just 6 weeks - i'm itching to give him a big cuddle but he just wants to run out of my arms.. he's so fast too.

Trek's confidence has gone through the roof. he is a different piggy and has been pop corning slightly.. my thinking is that he still wants to show Puddles he is a cool dude and doesn't want to get too excited.. yes, i'm 98)

I'm chuffed to bits with them.. I really am ;D

This is Trek - he really is growing so fast and a little porky I think .. he is 11/12 weeks old https://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s21/squeakywheeky/DSCF1143_edited.jpg

And this is Puddles.. 6 weeks old, jet black apart from the brown and white on his nose.

They are much cuter but I have magaged to capture Trek looking cross and Puddles looking petrified. Only pics i've got so far though

They have lovely colouring :)

It's difficult when you first start with Guineas because you really don't know what to expect, the noises they make sound like little aliens to me! But there are lots of experienced people on here that can give you lots of guidance, learning is just part of the fun of it all!

my little Henry is almost 6 weeks old and is also very shy hes in with harvey, and was born here I seperated him from mum last week and Harveys got over the novelty and is basically just being his mate like hiding him if bad old mummy comes in lol cheeky pair hope yours are ok I think they will be, they are so cute by the way :smitten: :smitten:

How are the boys doing are they still getting on.

They are still getting on.. even better really. I've been to work today and forgot to put their hidy hole back. They were both sat side by side having a little rest (I like to think of it as a cuddle though)

I'm so very happy with them both. They are thriving and puddles is gaining in confidence. He managed to sit still on my knee for 5 minutes last night. He squeeks for trek when he is having his cuddle too.

Floor time is hilerious.. the noise! Trek is still rumbling and i've heard Puddles do it too :o so I don't know what that is all about but I havn't seen Trek mount Puddles for a few days and even then he wasn't really trying - he didn't thrust ;)

The feelings I have for them arre unreal. I just wish it was the summer and get them out in the garden!

I cant wait until its warmer,to put some runs outside and some grass down
its gonna be chaotic but never mind, lol

glad your piggies are doin ok anyway ;)
