Junior Guinea Pig
This summer i've sadly had to say goodbye to 3 friends. It's taken me this long to be able to post about this without getting upset.....
My 1st tribute is to little "free ad" hamster Humphrey Snugglebum who passed away early this summer...
Dear Humphrey, from the moment we got you home in that tiny cage you'd won our hearts - you were such a little character, so inquisitive and trusting of us, we were amazed at how much sound you could make as you used to talk to us when you wanted to come out to play!
We still talk about you lots and often laugh as we remember when your new hamster heaven home arrived and you ran around like crazy jumping up and falling off the platforms and running through the tunnel you were so happy- like a child running around a play park!
You were ok when i fed you that morning before work, no sign of any illness.
I knew instantly when you didn't come out for your afternoon treat that something was wrong, it was such a shock to find that you'd left us - but we find comfort in the fact that you were cosily curled up asleep when you passed away x
Humphrey you were a hamster in a million, knowing you gave us so much happiness and we miss you so much ....... run free my friend x
