So I popped out at lunchtime today at work to buy some dinner for the boys (Waitrose’s finest!) and we’ve tried some new things tonight;

Mint, dill and Swiss chard. Dill was an instant hit, chard went down well and mint made the cage smell nice, so everyone was a winner in the end 😂

Love seeing them happy and tucking into something new (especially when that new stuff cost Waitrose prices and I’m not sure what do with Swiss chard otherwise!)

My pigs get deliveries of swiss chard from my neighbour's allotment left on my back doorstep; sometimes, just the middle rib of the leaf, it the hoomans have bagged the leafy bits for themselves - the cheek of it!

I've never tried them with dill - I don't like it. I feel awful that I'm depriving them!

Mine also love dill.
They get some most days and it’s gone before I’m out of their room.
They’re miffed tonight though - the humans ate a packet of their dill .

Mine now get Waitrose dill once or twice a month when I do my online Ocado shop for vegan sauces and stuff, after @Merab's Slave 's piggies introduced them to it! Also the Waitrose stringless beans that they love and the fancy salad mix with lamb's lettuce and red chard and beetroot :)

My lot are fussy and prefer the Rainbow Chard to Swiss Chard. They inhale dill and they like mint too. I have a load of mint in a container in my garden. I haven't tried them on basil yet. They also like to inhale coriander.

I think when mine and @Merab's Slave 's piggies did a cultural food exchange visit, mine learned to inhale dill, and her herd learned to inhale coriander :) except for gorgeous Jemimah who wasnt having any of this newfangled herb nonsense! Jemimah is a gorgeous older lady who knows her own mind on fashionable hipster herbs the youngsters might fancy :)

Jemimah has decided that she now likes coriander- I think she was afraid of missing out on food and possibly fading away to nothing :))
