Trimming nails

Hello again,
My boars are 6 months old. Live indoors in a spacious cage and have at least an hour a day down on the carpet.
Their nails look longer but not too long. Will there come a point I have to trim them? Or is their running around enough to keep them trim?
They are currently being moody adolescences. I know one of them would let me trim but the other prefers to be left alone

You will have to trim nails. Always worth getting your vet on how to show you how to do this as Guinea pigs have a blood supply 'quick' to the nail. Which makes trimming dark claws particularly tricky
