Hi, Just a update on how Trixie and Amber have been getting along in their new home! Had them for 2 weeks today and been to the vets twice! 1st Trixie had a cold and had to give her some antibiotics, she got better, but now Amber is ill so shes been on antibiotics but isn't taking well to having it squirted into her mouth. We give her treats every time she does take it but if anyone's got any tips on how to give her the antibiotics by syringe that would be great!?

Apart from them having colds, they have settled in very well, they are running around the open part of there hutch and squeak every morning before giving them there breakfast! Tomorrow depending on the weather we're going to try them in their new run for the first time!

Hope they get over their colds. Nice to hear that they're squeaking though, a good sign.

having had to give rocky and piglet several courses of baytril its a case of cruel to be kind. we have to pin them down and force them to have it =/ its a struggle but think of what good it does a well done cuddle doesnt go amiss either

Yeah cruel to be kind sounds about right, if only we could tell them it was making them better ! Ive only failed to get it down her once. I'm studying to be a Veterinary Nurse and my teacher showed me how to do it the proper way but I'm always nervous ill hurt them or stress them out to much. I know its the best for them and after their better they'll be fine! I guess its just a case of pinning them down! Thanks
