Yesterday, my sow had a cyst on her back cleaned and flushed, and was prescribed 2 doses per day of antibiotics and 1 dose per day of painkiller, for a full week. I am meant to be feeding her these through a syringe. However, she is extremely stubborn and I cannot get her to take them. I have tried holding her in place and opening her mouth to feed her them but she kicks or spits it out. She won't even touch food that has the antibiotic on. I have no idea how I'm going to manage giving her these medications every day, especially since one dose needs to be in the morning when I will have barely any time. Does anyone have any tips on how to get piggys to take medication?

Hi, one of mine is fussy about taking meds...ive gotten kind of the hang of it now...but it took a lot of wasted meds (thankfully we were given extra incase) i tend to hold him up close to my chest with him facing in towards me slightly so he can only turn one way fully...he is normally wrapped up in a towel so he can't kick too much...other wise if you have someone that can hold the piggy a bit still...unfortunately you have to be a little stern with meds...but giving lots of fuss and some of their favourite treat after works well after a while...
