Truffle and Jaffa

Craig and I went to look at the gerbils at Pets at Home today and as always I had a look at the adoption section. Two gorgeous FAT guineas caught my eye straight away. They were 2 years old, and unwanted by their owners as they were moving away

I couldn't leave them there, could I?!?! I had a spare four foot cage so made a donation and came away with TRUFFLE (chocolate and very pale cream Harlie) and JAFFA (golden semi-Sheltie). They aren't sisters, but are the best of friends. Worryingly Jaffa has no ears - they have been ripped/chewed off But she seems happy enough without them and they are snuggled up in the hay in the shed now

OMG they are gorgeous, I'm sure I've seen two very similar piggies up for adoption on here, but not female I think. Good on you for taking them in, so gerbils?

cant see a problem with no folds on her ears you may just want to clean them if hay or food get in there xx

One of Fred's folds are ripped down the middle, can't see it causing the girl any harm. May have been awful painful when it happened though .
