I got one with little lids and knobs, but once the lids were off, the hole underneath where the food was hidden was too small for a guinea pig to get his nose into 🫤 Which puzzle do you have? They are good enrichment.

Small Pet Select. It's also wooden but the holes are big enough. Stripe plays with the lids before he gets the food. I put forage and pellets in it. Chez can't figure it out.

Gotcha Day today. Today a year ago I had the cage all set up and waiting for two fluffy occupants to arrive ❤️
Some things for them and for little Socks the hamster, who came to stay a few months earlier.

Yes, the puzzle has been scored - with Truffle's tooth marks. He started to swallow the hessian string pull which disappeared until the lid stopped on his nose. Luckily when I scruffed Truffle he opened his mouth and it came back out. I thought we might be spending Gotcha Day at the vet, so prudently removed the string. Both pigs are still getting used to the puzzle and neither has really solved it yet, unless chewing it up is a way of solving it 😄

I'll ask him what he thinks. He had a lovely thread on the UK Hamster Forum until the Online Safety Bill legislation started making noises about issuing 18 million pound fines and a large number of small UK forums had to choose between risking being fined or closing down 🙁
I think he would enjoy venturing out again. He is a very perceptive fellow 🐹🛞
