Truffle and Polo

I trimmed Truffle's fur this evening. I wanted to do it before it gets hot again as sitting for a haircut makes him hot and impatient. The electric trimmer took a lot of fine fluffy undercoat off his back and sides which should help to allow him to cool down with the help of an ice in sock cooler. It takes more than one night to get the water bottles to freeze solid. It would be useful if they could freeze quickly

Mabel I will bite that sock to bits if it does anything funny but I have to confess MS has put wet socks with ice bottles in them around my cage and they are rather cool and nice. In my picture, although you can't see it, there is a hidden bottle and sock beside my hay bed cooling my brow (fevered by the thought of your pretty muzzle and sweet wheeks ) When the moon rises and the ice bottles sparkle the soft breezes will bring my purring to your ears
