Hoomum and Polo went to see a new vet today

who isn't far away and has nice long opening hours. He was very friendly to Polo and has kept guinea pigs as pets, and said Polo is very nice and very good

Polo was a good boy. We discussed the two lumps visible on his tummy and the options to look at, including observing for longer. He will be reassessed soon. The vet is great as he is considered about operating, knowing the risks. It does worry me that the stitches would be right where they could be bitten or scratched apart. Operations are not always straightforward for guinea pigs

until the warm sun wakes me and I search for your paw and wheek, my Mabel, where is she? How can I find my Cavee Queen? Tasteless now and scattered the cucumber slices Hoomum packed, the hay all strewn about, I will have to wait for moonrise and starshine to return before we can be together again
