BonBon2010
Adult Guinea Pig
I think it's wheek 15, might be 14.. anyway, think i'll do away with the wheeks and just get on with it
What can I say about Truffles? Well, the last weekends events have put a hold on her mischief, with BonBon not exploring as much of late as she's grieving Humbug's passing, and my being on nights, they have only been getting proper floor time when i'm off.
Any ho, last night was their first proper time out, and BonBon was showing more interest in the hallway and spare room, with Truffles occasionally joining her, as she was far more into popcorning through the tunnels i'd set up for her
She clearly has designs on being the Boss, and BonBon has started to back down and let her take the reins.
She and the white one don't tend to share each others space, they both seem happy with just meeting up to play at the moment.
She's just so loveable, what's not to like? Here's some piggy lips for you
Well, BonBon has showed no further signs of developing a cold, my feelings are that yes she was feeling off, but not because of a URI, but rather cystitis. She's going for a check up tomorrow, and possibly more antibiotics (to be on the safe side), but hopefully she'll get the all clear
Introductions have started today involving the lovely Tilly in short bursts, and early signs are looking good. BonBon seems quite taken by her, but Truffles just sees her as a tiny sprog
The size difference between them is simply amazing, it comes clear that Truffles has good exceptionally good parentage, but it's just as possible Tilly has just had a very slow start, and will eventually catch up a bit.
Excuse the hands, I don't quite trust her not to bolt off yet. I won't let myself build a false sense of security with her just yet.
She's adorable. She's coping better with lap time, and relaxes really well, better each day in fact.
She reminds me of a chess board, she has the perfect line straight down her chest, black on one side, ginger on the other. I'll try and get a piccie once she settles fully, could be a while yet before I can trust her (Liquorice's bolting off the bed and injuring her back makes me an anxious owner).
In a wheek, their adventures will begin

i have one of those too, grace is nearly a perfect quadrant of ginger & brown diagonally opposite in virtually straight lines along her spine & round her middle looking from above.
