Ok so I have two new piggies, my first for several years so I appreciate I have forgotten what they can be like. I decided to try and get them to use a litter tray to help me keep them as clean and odour free as possible as they are house piggies. So I buy the litter tray, put in some fresh bedding then some soiled bedding so they get the idea, I've already cleaned out the cage so add the tray to the most piddled in corner. Enter two piggies Ben and Jerry... Ben has a sniff and mooches off but Jerry jumps straight in. Yes! I think then immediately un-think it when he proceeds to get comfy and goes to sleep! Ben comes back to check it out and Jerry growls at him and warns him off!

I think I have a daft piggie and I also need to get another tray for Ben to have as a bed. Who said piggies were easy pets?!

Piggies always keep you on your toes!

I went through this! Hazelnut immediately decided the corner litter tray was his bed while Peanut Butter looked on in envy. Bought a second one and both were happy to use them as beds. As for toilet, well they continued to go everywhere and anywhere. I once watched PB waddle over to the his corner toilet dropping poops as he went along. He didn't even stop. In the end I took them out as I was worried about them sleeping in their wee and preferred that they use fleece cuddle cups as beds.

I was worried about the sleeping in their mess bit ans I'm going to change to fleece bedding and two new pigloos that I will line with fleece too. I am going to be using Vetbed fleece when it arrives with towels under to absorb the wetness. I'm glad I'm not the only one with daft piggies lol Jo
