hello all :)

I know piggies should only have fruit as a treat so not to give them too much, what fruits do your piggies enjoy? I tried giving them apple but they didn't seem interested in it!

I give mine a blueberry every day and they usually eat it.

If I give them apple they tend to like eating the skin than the apple itself.

Other than that I don't really give them fruit. Maybe a few times a year I'll buy a little pot of chopped up melon from the supermarket and give them half a piece each. Sometimes they eat it, sometimes they don't.
 
Hi my boar has tried a couple of fruits like orange,apple,raspberry,kiwi,watermelon and banana. He has eaten all of them but then some days he'll turn his nose up. His favourite is banana and watermelon :)
 
Mine has tried a few fruits (they go hyper after having some) So I give them apples, banana, kiwi and seedless grapes. They seem to the seedless grapes, but I give them only one a month or two.
 
Mine both love apple and will now take it from my hands when in the cage (had them two weeks today). They also like grapes. Not tried any other fruits yet.
 
Mine are not too keen on fruit but one of my newest guinea pigs found the punnet of nectarines on the sideboard after jumping on my shoulders and back of the chair and then onto the sideboard and decided to run off with one lol
 
I rarely give mine fruit but the other day my husband walked into the room eating an apple, my three went completely nuts, wheeking like crazy, climbing up the bars, we were stunned. We let them have a small piece each which they wolfed down! Then they all had zoomies not given it since, it clearly is a very special treat to them but I will reserve for special occasions only!
 
Mine like a piece of apple but only the red ones, it makes me laugh listening to them crunch away on it. They like a piece of banana skin too and I tried them on a seedless red grape each the other week and they liked them. They have had strawberry ages ago and only one of them liked it.

Our boys snap your hand off for apple! :))
Infact, they snap your hand off for any food because they 'haven't been fed for days' apparently :lol!:
