i have 3 guineas outside in the shed for the last few weeks.

they have half the shed to themselves, and have plenty papers and hay. also a large hutch type kennel, fully enclosed.

would like to add a tubular heater just to take the nip out of the air, as noticed temp is dropping at night, and i dont want the babies cold at night!;)

the shed is 8ftx6ft, so they are in an area of 4x3 ft.

what size of tubular heater do you think i need and what wattage?

thanks for repliesx)

I there i have just spoke to my hubby he's an electrician and he said it depends on where you are going to position the heater do you want it to take the chill off the whole of the shed if so a 6ft heater will be fine or if its just to go where the pigs are then a 3ft one should do the trick,he also said the tubuler heaters come in 60 watts per foot hope this helps you kelly-ann:)

cheers!
have been looking at the 3ft 180 watt ones.

so thats what i'll go with!:)
