hi there my 5 year old male piglet has a gurgly tummy and hes not eating his favourite veg which is cucumber ive read he could have bloat his poops are smaller and thinner and hes not eating his hay or food as normal ive also read i can give him infacol or dentinox for colic is this a good idea? hes lively enough when hes out for cuddles but his tummy area seems larger than normal

Does sound like he could have a touch of gas, possible bloat. Would advise a vets visit ASAP for proper diagnosis and gut stimulant to keep his guts moving.

You may need to syringe feed him and hopefully get him eating hay. Take him off veg for the time being too

thanks for getting back to me i will get him to the vets tomorrow as i am about to leave for work he has been eating his hay but not as often as he has been he ate a few bites of carrot and wont eat veg at all just now he has sniffed at his food but not really bothered about it ive gave his tummy and sides a wee massage to see if that helps him
