I feel like I post awfully a lot ! But I’m once again a worried mommy.
this morning, I was doing my normal heath checks and found this on one of my males tummy’s. (It’s a horrible picture but it’s all I could get.)
I have two boars and just a bit worried.
I’d say he’s between 7-9 months old!

Don’t worry about posting a lot!

It is not a clear enough picture to even be able to tell it’s position. If you are concerned, then a vet check is in order. He could get a scab for any number of reasons so it would be good to have a vet check him over.

Do be aware though that boars also have nipples just in front of the back legs. As I can’t tell from the picture, I am not sure of its positioning, but double check that that isn’t what you are seeing

Not nipples ! But it is close to them. I’d say about half an inch and it’s centered. Right in the middle of his belly.

Hi!

Check whether it is the belly button or a nipple; it is impossible to tell where the scab is and what its nature could be from your rather fuzzy picture. My money is on the belly button!

We have got a picture in our sexing guide that shows you the location of the nipples and belly button, which is the same in both genders for comparison and which should answer your question as it is nicely pointed out with an arrow: Illustrated Sexing Guide
