I have a problem. Miss Twirl is all alone and I just can't get another pig to bond with her. I've tried three different pigs and none of them want her there. Even the most placid one tried to take a chunk out of my poor little Twirl.
It was all in neutral ground with new things and still these pigs tried to hurt her. I don't get it. I knew one was a bit of a sod but the other two are sweet girls.

The three were single girls (one belongs to my mum, the other two belong to a friend and don't get on any more so are separate).

Does anyone know why my Twirl is being victimised by three separate piggies?

I am sorry for Twirl's problems. Perhaps you could try to date her with a gentle neutered boar instead?

She's a very timid lady so perhaps that would be a good idea if he wasn't likely to hump too much. Hmm..

I have a single female. Pollyanna lost her friend Molly. I tried her with three female piggies, and had no luck. She was a complete bully!
I am trying to find a neutered male, but have had no luck so far. :(

A agree a neutered boar is best for her by the sounds of it. He wont continually hump her at all. Probably at first meeting and then every time she is in season. A sow will usually chuck the boy off tho if she doesnt want him tho. Mine do.

Salt and Peppers Mum they are both beautiful piggies...Both boys are stunners! x)

I know this might sound awful, but I am waiting until after Christmas before I add to my piggies. I feel I will be able to spend more time with the newbie (and have a bit more money).

I am also worried that I will not be able to part with a new piggy, If Pollyanna doesn't get on with them. I need to make sure there is enough money incase I need to buy more accomodation ;)

I understand :)

If you got a neutered boar from Crawley Guinea Pig Rescue they would try a bond with Pollyanna. If she didnt take to either of them the boys would stay at the rescue until a suitable friend and home is found.
That's one of the plus points of going to a good rescue, you dont go home with a piggy in the hope your girl will like him, they get to meet each other first and so they decide who they like and who they would like to live with.
This way you know the bond has worked so no need to worry about buying more accomodation.
