Napalm
I don't want to jinx myself, but Houdini (the piggy with the orange patch around his eye in my avatar picture) seems to have made a complete recovery. He's eating with his usual vigorous appetite, running around, mounting Picasso and this morning when I put the boys onto my bed for playtime he popcorned! Houdini hasn't popcorned in so long that this really made my day. He's also found a new favorite food, pumpkin seeds, recommended by the vet to get his coat back to it's usual healthy state the way it was before he got sick. He's also gained back the weight he lost the two days he stopped eating properly and I had to force feed him. So for now everything seems well again, and I can see that Duchess the cat is very pleased to see the boys both popcorning again too. This morning she came and sat with them when they had their breakfast and stayed to watch Houdini be a happy boy. I've always got the feeling Houdini is her favorite because he never bullied Duchess, unlike Picasso who still worries her. Picasso is very particular about where he goes to sleep, it has to be the softest cosiest spot on the bed, so if he sees Duchess asleep in the best spot he waddles up to her, gets right in her face and goes WHEEEEEEEEEEEEK WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK until she can't handle the noise anymore and runs away so that Picasso can take her spot.
