So my Dave and Derek like most piggies isn't enjoying this heat at all I've taken the plastic igloos out and much to Dave's dislike I've taken his beloved blankie out as its way too hot I froze the hot water bottle then put a tea towel over it plus they both have a cool mat to try and help them stay as cool as possible as you can see at first Dave wasn't sure of the hot water bottle idea then figured its way too hot to be even bothered and Derek has barely moved from that spot all day (excuse the mess its too hot is also my excuse lol ) xx

I've got the front room window wide open for them too with a lovely coolish breeze at the moment which Derek is loving as he's up and about for the first time today, no they don't seem bothered by the end of the water bottle for some reason x
 
Awwwwww, bless them :love: I do hope it gets cooler soon, our girls are flaked out
 
Oh I hope so too we are not liking this heat one bit we have a nice cool breeze at the moment so my boys are up and about for the first time today x
 
It was so hot today I dunked my piggies and their feet in a bucket with about an inch of water at the bottom. 3 enjoyed it, 2 tried to jump out of the bucket.
 
This heat is unbearable the hot water bottle stayed cool for almost an hour then it just melted and as Dave got up he was drenched lol where did you get your ice pod from as I don't think these cooling mats are gonna work as neither of them will go near them lol x
 
Mine came from a local charity shop for £3 but you can buy them online. They are made by scratch and Newton. I also use a partially filled old coke bottle frozen as well but they do prefer the ice pod
