I’ve had my two male guinea pigs for just over a year now at the start they did chatter their teeth and had a bit of a rumble so I expanded there home and it had seemed to settle the problem with an occasion chattering of teeth.
I have just moved homes a week ago and they have been getting into fights, even thought they have a lot of room to hide and run. I do I realise that it’s gonna take them time to settle in and get used to new smells and noises etc. However today they have been really bad and going for each other a lot but this time there has been blood draw.
This is the first time blood has been drawn I have currently separated them do I need to now forever separate them or do you think maybe getting them neutered will help settle them?
Billy is the one that’s got hurt hes very shy and has only just been coming out of his comfort zone however he would always trying to get on the back of Bobby and I think he’s just had enough of it.
I just don’t understand how they can start fighting like this after a year of being together happy as can be.

Welcome to the forum and I am sorry to hear they have had a fight.

If they have had a blood drawing fight, then that is usually the end and their separation will sadly need to be permanent. They need to reestablish their relationship when there is a change in environment and territories and unfortunately such changes can bring underlying issues to the surface and cause problems and a break down in their relationship.
Neutering does not change behaviour for guinea pigs like it does for other animals so it won’t make them like each other. Therefore two piggies who have had a fight will not be able to stay together even if neutered.

I’m so sorry they have started fighting. Yes a change of location is enough to unsettle their bond. If bloods been drawn then it’s usually the sign the bond is broken. Neutering won’t help. 🙁

This is there home if I split it down the middle for tonight will that be okay or will they need to be in separate rooms all together?

It's great sized space they have there - silly boys for fighting.
Splitting it down the middle is fine for overnight.
Actually you may find they get on perfectly well and are able to enjoy each others company through the bars.
If possible this is the best long term solution so they can still interact on their own terms, but can't injure each other.
Sorry they fell out, but it looks like you will be able to offer them a good space living side by side.
