Very excited! Getting my two new girlies to start my herd :D

Any advice about... Introducing and what to look out for in how Maple and Pecan may react, whether its good or bad. And what to do if things don't go well.

And have yet to decide on names either... Really like the name Perry ;) hahaha

If you read the stickies on sow behaviour, may be of help :)
Are you getting rescue piggies ? Only reason I ask is they are healthy and vet checked prior rehoming so pose a lesser risk to existing piggies :)
Know how exciting it is but always have a back up plan in case things don't work out as I had a failed sow bonding last year and it left me upset having to keep a single piggy until she could go dating. She has her own little buddies now and is a very happy girl but it upset the dynamics of the herd we tried her with for a few days :(
Bonding is not to be taken lightly - most sows are a breeze if you know what to do etc. and I for sure felt confident my girls would all get along but it didn't happen as Sally wanted top spot from Amelia and Amelia was having none of that :{
Don't forget to quarantine the girls first as well, a couple of weeks is sufficient and then I put the new piggy next to the others so they can hear/see/smell each other before neutral introductions :)
Keep us posted on events and all paws crossed for you :)p
