Would boars be happy having a shared shed with another pair of boars? Both pairs would in a hutch of their own on opposite sides of the shed and no common spaces. Would keep run spaces separate

Might be best to leave it until their teenage phase has passed then?

You can keep boar pairs in the same room. It shouldnt cause any problems even as teenagers. There will probably be a bit of interest in the new neighbours but that is probably going to happen even if they were older. You don’t need to wait until they are out of their teens

I agree with @Piggies&buns
You 100% can keep more than one boar pair in a room/area, in separate spaces. Whenever I added a new pair, the others would be very interested through the bars and there was lots of typical “boar conversation” going on, but it soon settles.

Hi, I have 4 boars living together I an 8ft by 6ft shed with an attached 6ft by 8ft run (which I have closed at the minute because of the weather). 2 boars are older than the other 2. They can all run about together on the floor of the shed but I have 2 hutches with ramps and another hutch with a step and another 2 hide holes so that they each can have their own space too. Introducing them was a bit of a process but they are happy now and eat off a shared long plastic trough that I put their veg in. Tgey do have a water bottle, hay bag and food bowl each. They are all neutered and get along great either choosing to have their own space but also cuddle up when it gets colder. I put lots of hay in their hutches and they also have covers too. The shed is also lined with old curtains stapled to the walls of the shed and inside the hutches have thermal fleece stapled to the sides for extra insulation. It got to minus 5 last night and they are all happy this morning when I went to give them their veggies. I also put heat pads in at night but found that actually self heating cat beds are really good too. They tend not to poop or wee on them either because they are warm.
I know usually more than a pair of boars is a bit tricky but with enough space and hide holes it is achievable, but separate hutches within the same shed would be absolutely fine.
I also have 3 sows and a neutered boar in another shed with a similar set up, they are a bit more timid than my boys and seem to hide and snuggle as a big group.
Love my piggies!
Love K
