Well i was looking in my local rescues site and i saw two of the most gorgious guinea pigs in the world. Ive completely fallen in love with them and i realy want to give them a home. The trouble is I have two gorgious ladys at my uni house as it is and although there is a little room for them at my boyfriends they wouldnt be able to stay with me at my uni house.
I could let my ladys stay with my boyfriend and have the newbies stay with me. But then id feel terrible that i'd swapped them to live with my boyfriend and i wouldnt feel right. I will be moving in with my boyfriend though once universitys over.
So i wont be getting them but I'm so gutted :( They have stolen my heart! :(:(:(

That's a shame! Can you not make space I am currently squeezing the furniture into stupidly small spaces to make room for a nero 4 so I can adopt a currently fostered piggie. Think my whole family think I am mad but I don't care as I'm soo excited.

George is my current piggie I have had him about 6 weeks on sat & he is a lone piggie & he needs a friend. He is also in a nero 2 which is fine for now as he is still no way near fully grown but I can't get over the fact the petshop didn't tell me I needed a bigger cage for him! anyway he is fine & was **** for the best as doubt my boyfriend would have let me have him originally if he came in a nero 4 (ha ha) :))

I dont think my boyfriend will let me have them to be honest :( I said we could put them in the study downstairs but he says its too cold in there. But its better than then being outside though. I wish i could have them
:( Ive kinda talked myself out of it now though. I wont be around my boyfriends much as I'm in my last year in uni and he keeps say theres no room when there obviously is!
They are absolutely gorgious though! The handsomest boars i have ever seen!
I hope you enjoy your piggie! Thanks for commenting...i was beginning to think i sounded a bit nuts lol :D

Oh it's so difficult when you fall for a piggy (or two!) like that - I'm sure we've all been there! I've got no self-control, heart rules my head every time!

Head ... heart? Heart ... head?
I have been there! rolleyes:)

It is hard to resist, especially if the piggies are in need of a good and loving home.

heart all the way I say! obviously only if you can squeeze a big enough cage in (and no skrimping on size). Also I suppose you need floor space too which luckly I have (even if it is middle of living room & we have to dance around the playpen to go to the toilet or outside for a cigarette).

to be honest i would not get them just yet.I am sure they will find a home it just sounds a little risky for you to take them at this stage and you dont want to put your girls out as that would not realy be helpfull to all four of the piggys.I hope i have not offended you just think its not a good idea at this stage for your situation

Your right really. Thats exactly what my head is saying. I'm not offended at all :) Thanks for your honesty!
I dont think ill get them now although they have me completely smitten x)

I'm sure ill find some piggies just as worthy of a good home when my circumstances are better :(|)

Thanks for your comments guys :)p

I often find when this happens, they've already found a home and the decision is then made for me!

I agree don't bite off more than you can chew (not that I'm in any position to talk, my house is over-run with the little blighters!)

If you do decide you've got room in your life for more pigs in the future there will always be plenty needing home
