Tittle is a bit messy but I need urgent help.
I'll start from the beginning. I had one piggie (other one past away). I got another two boys last year and one of them got really friendly with my old one and protected him from his mate (which by the way I got together from a breeder as apparently they were really friendly). My old piggie has an abcess which caused him to be a bit weaker but stable and he is a lot older than the other two. For some reason the two young ones started humping my oldie, I know it's normal behaviour to establish dominance and I've been through it with them last year, therefore why did they start humping my poorly oldie? I separated them for tonight as I couldn't stand him squeaking no more.
Can anybody help please?

I do not have boys, but some owners place cuddly toys in with younger boars to ease the humping with other pigs.

I am sure a boar owner will answer shortly

How old are your boys? Has there been a deterioration with your old chap? Group dynamics can change, and sometimes not for the better. See if your old chap is happier on his own with round the clock interaction with the tow younger boys through the bars for ongoing stimulation and companionship, but with his own safe territory.

Boys are just over a year, one of them is few weeks older than the other one and my old chappy is 4 years old. I'll if that helps.
Thank you x

Your boys are not yet quite out of the teenage hormones and may have experienced another testosterone spike. One boy can trigger the other when it comes to dominance behaviour. How is your old boy?

The screaming, by the way, is submission screaming.

He is 4. With his health, I didn't want him to go through unnecessary stress, that's all.
