Two sisters in heat,

This is my first time owning 2 Guinea pigs, they are bonded sisters, and they are both in heat right now and I’m not sure what I should do, should I be worried, is there anything I should do, it literally start yesterday, which the date is 3/28/2022. Anything will help, please

You don’t need to do anything. You will see an increase in dominance but you just leave them to get on with it.
Ensure your cage is big enough so they can get away from each other (a minimum of 120x60cm) and that all hides have two exits

Does it happen multiple times a year or only once

Sows come into season about every two weeks (it’s roughly every 15-17 days) throughout their entire lives (there is no menopause for guinea pigs) so you will notice this increase in dominance a lot. Some seasons will be stronger than others though.
