1: One female seems to be loosing hair, theres no patchiness or any visable signs on her, but I find myself covered in it if I hold her. Also if you pull on the hair it just comes out with no resistance at all. Any ideas what this could be?

2: Theres been a sudden bout of unformed soft stinky poos with 3 out of four girls, the OH gave them what I think (had to translate a few times) was iceberg lettuce, all 10 pigs had it and the rest are fine, but could that be the cause of the soft poos? Also how long if it is that will it take to resolve?
Can I give them anything to firm up thier stools in the mean time?

Want to know if theres anything that I can do short term, if they're still bad on Monday I'll be dragging them all to the vets but it isnt open till then :...

They did have some veggies earlier which they were very intusiastic about, I wanted to make sure some fliuds got into them. And they have heaps of hay.

The soft poops are probably the lettuce. Its ok for them but in moderation as its very watery and has very little nutrition in it. Steer clear of too much of it and feed other leafy greens like kale, greens, fresh herbs and spinach (in moderation as high in calcium - tho i believe Kale might be too) I would feed little veg today and their poo's should start to harden up by tomorrow if it was the lettuce. If not maybe try some probiotic for them to help rebalance their gut flora.

As for the hair loss, how old if your girl? And has she had a pregnancy recently or any medical problems. I found out most of the piggies ive had with a lot of shedding has been one after pregnancy and a boar after neutering. It could just simply be normal, they all loose some fur, it depends how much i suppose. Is she loosing a lot on her flanks? This is an indication of cystic ovaries if so.

Ok will stop with all veggies for girls, they will be mad *** I have to walk past them with it to get to the boys.

She is about 7 months old, and had a litter at about 4 or 5 months. To be honest the hair just seems to fall out, everywhere. But if you look at her theres none missing or seem to be any less, just seems to be alot comming off. You can give it a tiny pull and itll come out whereas with all the rest it stays and they squeak, just seems odd.
