Coco and Patchy are very unimpressed with their mummy this morning. Firstly their brekky was a whole hour late (that's like a week in guinea pig time) because mummy is sick and slept in, they were so upset that they gave me the silent treatment and wouldn't even wheek for their brekky. I fed them and then ran from the room before they realised that I had also run out of coriander for them. BAD PIGGIE SLAVE!

Oh dear, youve got some serious making up to do. There's no excuse for lateness and especially running out of food!
Don't let being ill get in the way of pigs and their food!
(Hope you feel better soon!)

One of my boars gets some dill every day. I started giving it to him years ago to try to help him get used to me as he was a very skittish pig.

When I have got any he will just stand there looking at me, waiting, whilst the other one starts eating all the rest of the veg.

I tried giving Blitzen some veggies without giving Comet any in an attempt to get Comet to drink (neither of them are big drinkers, they prefer to get water from veggies). There is no way Comet saw the bowl being placed in the other side of the enclosure...but he knew all right, came running up to the bars, staring at me.

They know

:)) That is like a whole week in piggy terms lol it really is!

We used to get the silent treatment from our first piggies, we used to call it 'Silencio'

Lol. They are currently tucking into some coriander and had brekky early so hopefully they are in a better mood today.

So I officially feel ghastly and literally don't have the energy to move from the bed. Piggies cage clean two day's over due and my partner has broken his foot and my dad will never get down on the floor or backup to help out. Will it be totally neglectful of me if I clean them out tomorrow, ive been spot cleaning still and their fleece is dry. I feel like the worst guinea pig owner on the planet right now lol.

You take care of you! They might be grouchy but it's for their own good in the long run - the sooner you feel better the sooner things can go back to normal! They'll be okay for one more day. :)
