I have 2 boys. One constantly trying to be underneath the other. Is this normal ? He is definitely the more shy of the 2

I have one who always likes to hide behind his cage mate when we approach. Humans are big scary preditors, even when you've been living with the same ones for 4 years! I think your boy is just using his friend to hide under and for protection.
