Sadly I lost tyrians brother and best friend lupin recently and poor tyrian was all alone in the world so he went off dating to glynneath guinea pig rescue http://guinearescue.blogspot.co.uk/ some very lovely piggies to choose from and easily could have come home with a fair few of them, but it was all down to tyrian to pick whom he wanted from the boar dating service and suzy is so good at finding perfect matches.
So as lupin and tyrian came from suzys rescue it was going back briefly for tyrian and he met the lad I hoped he would like, so back home and first quick pics of the new best friend (on phone so not greatest quality). Meet Martin
pen is stripped back to basics while they adjust to the change in home at mine as part of the bonding process, so they get to use the stools normally kept in the run outside and fleecey things will be placed in next pen change slowly till I am happy they can have squbes in with them - I did exacty the same with the herd when they had the two new girls, all double opened softies for second pen clean, then a couple of squbes and now fully kitted out with more beds than pigs.

All good this morning and martin is such a sweetie, he loves attention and tickles, tyrian is so happy again to have a best friend, martin is chuffed to bits with his very hairy pal.
I cannot thank suzy enough for finding tyrian a new pal, for letting me have all the piggies I have from her and as I know she is currently 150% full anyone local to south wales or willing to travel and have space for any piggies would be welcome to enquire about adding to their homes, there are some absolutely beautiful piggies just waiting to be homed, bonded pairs of boys and girls, and singles waiting like martin was to find their next best friend.

and martin took a slice of cucumber from me like he has been with me forever, he is just brilliant. Tyrian is really happy and its lovely to see him back to being the happy little man he always has been.
