i understand that this is the Guinea pig forum but I need help on a dog too, so the Guinea pig litter which is the back 2 nature pack was at the side of my cage and my 4 year old shih-tzu managed to get to it, she decided to eat the litter and I'm not sure how much of it she's ate, she seemed to like it a lot and it got me worried. She is a normal fed dog and she gets spoiled, I don't see any reason for her to be eating Guinea pig bedding/litter:mal: I moved the bag of litter and I've searched the Internet of what this can do to dogs?! I can't find anything. Can someone help please, I'm worried.

Sorry I cant advise, is it this stuff?

Is it recycled paper?

It might make her constipated.
Best to keep a close watch.
I can't imagine it is harmful, unless it causes a blockage.

Dont give her any food until tomorrow afternoon/evening, give things time to pass. If shes constipated, you can give a little sunflower or olive oil, the stuff drained from a tin of tuna works well.

Any lethargy, vomiting, hard or painful abdomen, straining to pass faeces.. See the vet asap.
