Hi guys me again ( so glad I have this forum to post things that I need advice on)

So last night the boys got a small different amount of fresh than the morning and they didn't eat ANY of it ... slightly worrying as they've always devoured everything quick as a wink .

This morning i went back to the 'usual' veg that they normally have including the pepper that they wolfed down yesterday see my previous thread lol ! And left them too it, went back about 20 mins later and 3/4 of it was left ? Really don't understand this as they're both eating hay , poops are solid and both running around popcorining and drinking well .

Then I thought maybe their teeth were getting too long , so I checked and teeth are perfectly normal length so I'm stumped

Are they just being fussy? Or were they full , I'm not too worried as both chomping down hay and pellets and drinking normally .

Any advice would be much appreciated !

If they are eating hay, drinking and being lively then I'd say they are being fussy. My two can be really fussy and wont eat today what they had yesterday. They like pepper and green beans from M & S this week but next week they would prefer me to shop at Tesco, it took ten months just to get them to taste pepper. :hb: I give them what I've got now and leave it in the cage for an hour then it goes in the compost if uneaten, but they are learning and tend to go back and eat what's there once they realise thats all there is.

Fussy piggies!
Treat them like children - if they don't eat it after a decent amount of time take it away but don't offer a replacement. They will soon learn to eat it or lose it.
They do go off things (usually when you've just bought a fridge drawer full of it) but I just persist. The only thing they all refuse (and poo on) is courgette.

Mine are same! I can get away with giving them the same veg two meals in a row but if I try to stretch that to three they won't eat it! I normally need to leave a week then before I give it to them again!

thanks guys just an update, I've been leaving it for a good length of time then removing .. its worked a treat!
