parents were going to asda, i asked them to pick up a bag of guinea pig food as id got harrington’s there a few months ago. they return with a bag of country value crappy pellets and coloured muesli! i probably should have told them a specific brand but now the pigs will have to be fed on crap for a while not my parents fault, they don’t know anything about pigs but i’m annoyed

Do your parents still have the reciept? If so you could gently mention to them that the brand they got was not the brand your piggies are used to and mention to your parents about piggies really shouldn't change brand once they are used to a specific one. Then return the bag that they got you.

i would return it but sadly we’re never really near asda, it’s kind of a one off trip good idea though
