Ugly piggies

I find myself drawn to those aestheticly challenged pigs. Thats the piggie paradox. The uglier they get, the cuter they seem. Random colors, kinky hair, double chins, pointy bum, bring it on...I just had that on my mind and snickered while holding one of my "challenged" pigs. She's cute from one side, make you cringe from the other! She's super sweet, really.

Each time I adopt a Guinea pig I say to myself it won’t be an America Guinea Pig. Each time I go home with an America Guinea Pig.

I sort of know what you mean? Tico has such a mousy face. She has huge buggy eyes and her ears are massive and her nose is pointy. Her pig uncle always comments on her froggy feet and her massive chins. She in no way fits the specification of a cute round guinea pig. But every day I tell her how beautiful she is because it's true!

Bertha(RIP) was a sweet girl. But boy she looked mean in her cage when we adopted her. She was so docile. She usually got her veggies in private cause the others ate so much faster. I miss her .

I have found that the less eye-catching piggies usually make up for it in terms of personality whereas my 'lookers' often don't have the most endearing character to be honest...

Wow what a lovely looking pig! She makes me think of someone in Star Wars. Beautiful.
