Strange isn't it! Dottie doesn't have anything like it...glad I noticed so I can show the vet tomorrow.

Thanks for the info on the pearl barley! I've been meaning to get a piggie first aid kit together for ages now, have my list ready - this has given me a kick up the bum to actually purchase everything next pay day!

Having zoomed right into Mabel's bits, having them fill my screen (sorry Mabel!), it looks like something stuck in her hair, rather than a graze on her skin?

and the mystery continues! :)) God knows! She hasn't had any loose poops so it's not that and it doesn't wash off when rubbed lightly! :)) i'm imagining you zooming in now! Poor Mabel, having her bits flashed to the world!

:)):)) Poor Mabel! Good job she doesn't realise her "bits" have been posted all over the internet! :(|)

:)) ") all in the name of getting her better though! Dottie has also been thoroughly inspected tonight, poor girls! I'm glad the OH isn't in or hasn't walked in on me taking close ups of their bits! :x

Will she let you give it a little pull to see if it comes off? gently of course!

Ps, Dottie and Fin love the barley water :)) thought i'd give them a go so I know in future! Mini Mabel was trying desperately to try it out as well, I felt horrid not letting her have any!

I got my guys used to things like critical care and syringes early on...they have no problem now when its needed!

It's definitely a good idea, once I get some C&C for my first aid kit i'll try them with it! Mabel's just peed again, no visible blood (I know this doesn't mean it's not there) but still it's better than yesterday. I'm obsessed with her urinary habits now :)) bet she takes ages to pee later when I actually need some!

Hope all goes well at the vet's tomorrow.... I remember how obsessed we got over Putt's weeing and pooing with her bladder issues :)) One night the 3 of us watched nearly 2 hours of tv before she decided to wee in the bowl! Good luck with the wee collection later, hope it's a speedy one!

Really hope everything goes ok at the vets for beautiful Mabel and the mystery of her 'bits' can be cleared up. All fingers and paws crossed for her here. The girls and Megan send lots of healing wheeks x x

Thank you so much Lee and Rach. I'm about to start the process as I didn't get much sleep last night worrying about her, need to try and get an early night tonight! I'm on a 2 day course about the brain so need to be able to concentrate! :))

Good luck at the vets! I really hope she is ok. Thank you for the photos as when she is diagnosed, it will definately help someone like me as I have no experience in these things.

I wonder if it is sore down there for Mabel? It would be definately painful for us and irritable too. Poor baby!

Eagerly waiting for your post after the vets! Loads of good luck vibes for Mabel! x

poor Mabel, i cant help feeling she has been totally violated lololol

Good luck tomos, everything crossed here that it is nothing to worry about xx

Hehe, she has been a bit hasn't she! Poor girl. Now she's currently sitting in my glass pyrex dish...refusing to pee! malletheadmalletheadmallethead I figured I could at least see through the bottom when she has gone! She's not happy in the slightest, turning her nose up at my offering of cucumber! Poor girl, OH has departed to the bedroom, he thinks i'm nuts! :))

oh just ignore him, its all for a good cause! I'm not sure my two would like the pyrex dish lol think i would go for a placcy tray or something a lot less downmarket!

Haha! Oh and YES I will use it again to cook with :)) if boiling water is good enough to make it sort of sterile then I'll do it again and cook with it! inbreeding

I had a bottom lift and thought we were there but no...nothing came out!mallethead

oh...is that a good sign though, a bottom lift with nothing? hope shes not struggling to go, oh its so frustrating all this waiting lol

Oh god, I didn't even think about that! :... She didn't cry though? Who knows...i'm going to stop analysing now until the vet tells me what is in her pee tomorrow!

I put her down for one second on the side and she peed! :)) Got my sample, didn't actually take that long! 0.8ml's worth, hope that's enough, my syringe was tiny. It's interesting to see it in the clear glass as there is a lot of calcium in it and there was a teeny tiny dot (a bit like limescale from the kettle) which had a red dot...

Anyhow, it's done! Let's see what they say tomo....

So I had a feel of the white bit...it's not gritty, just disappears when you rub it like chalk...

It's impossible! :)) I've never seen piggy pee that close up! Just curious...my family regularly tell me i'm in the wrong profession, I definitely should have been a vet! I lifted the pot up to see her from underneath, quite interesting seeing the difference in her feet - the pads turned a different colour on the pressure points from her standing!

I have everything crossed that you've got nothing to worry about, as for the white dust that's calcium deposit's which are normal. Just the body expelling the calcium.

Do you feed readigrass, I noticed calcium deposits with it. X
