I went back to the pet shop :o. I couldn't get the poor mite out of my head all weekend. While I was looking the owner came and got him out and gave him to me and the poor mite was so skinny I could feel his whole spine...that was it...I was decided.
I'll put some piccies up when he's settled in a bit, but he's so gorgeous. I also need to give him a name, so get your thinking caps on ;)

I'll try and get some pics later, might make the naming easier. He's gorgeous though, if I may say so myself :))

I would have done exactly the same, looking forward to pics. What are your plans with him? are you going to get him a friend or put his in with your current piggies?

Every guinea pig deserves a good home, so nobody is blaming you for giving for a sad little shop piggy in a bad state a loving home!

I hope that he will thrive under your good care and am looking forward very much to seeing pics!

Awww cant wait to see pigtures of the new little fella! Names now perhaps... perhaps Rusty?Teal? Or maybe you could go for ice cream names..just 'cause of his colourings :), perhaps vanilla? or Butters (butter and peacan)? Ripple? Flake? I love the idea of butters! Sounds so cuteh! :)) hope you think of a name soon! :))

Plan is to put him in with my 2 girls once he's neutered. He and Lexi have just met through the bars and all seemed to go well so fingers crossed.

And I agree, I like the name Butters...I'll have to wait for OH to get back from work though :)). He's fallen in love with this one.

He's getting quite confident already which is good. I'll try to get some pics this afternoon, if he'll sit still for 2 seconds.

I think youv'e done the right thing! I think that every pig deserves a loving home :) He must think hes won the lottery coming to live with you :) xx

I managed to get a sneaky pic in his make do hidey...

He's got a cute blonde mohawk, unfortunately you can't see it on that side.

Awwws! He is so gorgeous! Now let me find that pignapping jacket.. :)) Lovely piggie glad he's found a loving, caring home with you. Such a lucky pig!

Thanks everyone. He's quite a confident little boy, much more than my girls were. He's quite happy to come out of hiding while I'm in the room :). It took my girls a while to get that confident.

Hehe, nope, he's not for pignapping I'm afraid :))

Oh he is so lovely, I can see why you both fell in love with him!

Oh what a cutie. What about naming him Lucky as he is very lucky you came along.I had a piggie years ago called Lucky.

Aww, have you thought of a name for him today? Hope he's settling in well and enjoying his new home! :)

I'm sort of lingering on Dusty or Butters...Haven't quite decided, I'll try and get some more pics later. He seems to be settling in well.
