This morning neighbour came round with her little girl, and they brought dandelions from their untreated garden. The little girl wanted to feed the piggies, so I said 'ok.' Then she went to Church Club and her mum went home. About an hour ago, they came back for a drink and she pulled some more from her pocket, and I didn't really think much of it, til she said she'd been picking these from the street when she was playing out...what shall I do? They've eaten them now...What are the signs of poisoning?

Keep an eye on their poo output and seek urgent veterinary attention if you see signs of diarrhea or if their behaviour changes at all (e.g. they become sluggish, not want to eat etc).

I am really not too sure, things do pass through very quickly due to their fast metabolism. Will do some research though and get back to you.

Thank you, at the moment they're just bouncing about eating hay and pellets, don't seem fussed so hopefully they were poison-free...I washed them thouroughly as a matter of course

If you washed them then hopefully the risk is minimal.

I wash everything they get, you can never be too sure even with supermarket veg

Thanks ever so much, they're still interested in food etc, they're drinking and they can move around normally. I'll probably let the little girl grow cress on my windowsill so that she still feels like she can feed something she's cultivated herself
