Heh. It gets lost in translation very easily, because my accent is so strong. I called someone here in England a buck eejit once (I swear, it's a term of endearment. don't ask me how, it just...is?). They heard me say something else entirely that I can't repeat here because it is very much not a child friendly phrase. I was too busy laughing to care, mind you.

But I honestly think eejit just sounds better in general. Less harsh.
