My poor boy has a bad eye ulcer , he went to the vets yesterday and they gave me eye drops to put in 3x daily and metacam for the pain, it seems to flare up through out the day, looks so painful. He’s at the vets tomorrow for his teeth trimmed so I’ll get them to have another look at his eye and see if it’s getting any better, attached pictures below, he’s teeth chattering so much can tell he’s in a lot of pain :(

Poor boy! That looks sore! Keep doing what you do; the first 2-3 days with a very sore eye can be tough. After that it will hopefully start to get better.

Poor boy, sending him lots of healing vibes.
My Peanut had a hay poke last week. His eye was scratched and ulcerated, the white bit was very red. He had Metacam once daily and eye drops 3 times a day, it cleared up completely in 5 days. Hope your boy gets better very soon.

Thanks guys! It’s so hard getting the eye drops into his eyes as he hates to be man handled, having to pin him down but it’s for his own good even if he doesn’t know it. He has so much going on at the moment, really worried about him :(

Also his eye is sort of twitching back and forth but I think that may be something to do with the pain

Poor little boy and it must be distressing for you too.
Have you tried wrapping him in a towel to contain wriggling when putting the eye drops in?
Hope he gets better soon

It is hard to get the drops in. I must admit I missed a few times even though Peanut hates being handled and just freezes on my lap. Even the vet missed first time, she was showing me how to do it and got my hand which was holding Peanut still instead.

Yeah I held him in a towel and my partner tried to put the drops in but every time it was about to drop he bobbed his head up to see what we was holding! Lol, just really distressing seeing him in pain but will show the vet his eye again tomorrow when we are there, hope after his teeth are trimmed he will be on the mend and feeling better! Does any one have any experience with piggies who have had teeth trims? I’m wondering if he will need to be syringe fed afterwards and if so will the vets supply me with critical care ? Thanks :)

Your vet should be able to supply you with a sachet of Critical Care if he thinks you need it tomorrow. It's worth keeping some in just in case anyway. I buy mine on line, I shop around to find cheapest price.
