Adult Guinea Pig
So I've been trying to think of ways to give my boyz a bit more variety in their little lives.
They have an outdoor hutch, a run, and an indoor cage but I've been reading a lot on this forum about "floor time".
So I devised a way to section off a part of the dining room, laid out some towels and jumpers, their favourite ball toys and some dandelions
At first they just stood in one corner - gazing out from behind a curtain - so I sat with them and gently encouraged them (otherwise known as picked them up and plonked them) by the dandelion.
After that they started running around, nose to tail like a choo choo train, making the loudest noises ever - I can only describe this as frenzied giggling. But then started taking it in turns to hump each other (side on), still chattering loudly.
I wasn't sure if they were tremendously excited or tremendously scared, so I put them back in their hutch.
Anyone? @)
