On Preloved today....

"Our guinea pigs have freedom to run around (and breed!) in our large garden. Consequently we have a number of baby guniea pigs surplus to requirement! They are used to us humans and will run up and feed from your hand- how sweet is that! "

OMG - what blooming irresponsible people (and that's putting it nicely).

What did they think the guinea pigs would get up to?! Poor wee piggies, they'll now become unwanted xmas presents and end up in rescues, if they are lucky enough.
 
Fuming - I'm all for pigs living in groups but a) not outside in this weather and b) not allowed to breed indiscriminently! (sp)

Why not keep sows only, or sows and a neutered boar?

I would be soooo worried about who they go to. I was gutted when I went to our local reptile shop and seen they sell guinea pigs (frozen)
 
ROFL really I am because what do they expect, you put males with females what is going to happen....it's not rocket science!
