Hiya, usually I have one boy that rumble strutts but now my docile underpig has started doing it back. Though it looks really funny them both shaking their bums around is it anything to be worried about that the underpig started doing it too?
 
I am far from an expert, but maybe they have established a clear relationship now and are both happy exhibiting their fine boarly bottoms.
I do love a good rumble strutt.
 
They’re around 8 and a half (ish) months old now, the dominant one will start shaking his bum then my underpig responds by swinging his right back, nothing nasty or anything was just wondering as it’s a little strange

Right in the teenage months then, that explains it! Hormone spike (usually around 9/10 months) - testing boundaries. They should settle back down, but it is obviously just something to keep an eye on with teenage boys.

Rumble-strutting is normal and minor dominance behaviour.

How old are your boys now?
 
8 and a half (ish) months, was just confused as my underpig started doing it too, he did it to begin with but he hasn't done it in a long time. he isn't much of a bottom shaker usually!
